Comparing your Transit Agency's Emissions With Projected National Trends
The Results tabulate the average emissions of carbon dioxide per distance traveled by each transit mode. You can use this data to evaluate the standing of your own agency in relation to a projection model based on the trends for a national average of ridership, emissions, and implementation of alternative fuel technologies. The emissions projections data describes four scenarios: status quo ridership, status quo technology use, increased ridership and advanced technology implementation.
